Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all repair, servicing, deep cleaning and parts work carried out by The Vacuum Doctor.

Quotes and approval

Quotes are provided after a diagnostic and are valid for 30 days. No chargeable work is carried out until you approve the quote. Where a hidden fault is discovered mid-repair, work pauses and a revised quote is issued for approval.

Repairs and workmanship

All work is carried out with reasonable care and skill. Some machines may have pre-existing wear, prior damage or unavailable parts that limit what can be achieved; this will be explained before work proceeds.

Warranty

Selected repairs and replacement parts carry a warranty, confirmed in writing at the time of quote acceptance. Warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, blockages caused after service, or faults unrelated to the original repair. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Parts

Genuine parts are used where available and appropriate. Where a quality aftermarket alternative is recommended, this is disclosed before fitting. Removed parts are disposed of unless you request their return at the time of booking.

Onsite service

Onsite repairs require safe, reasonable access and a working power outlet. Appointment windows are estimates and may shift due to traffic or preceding jobs. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed. Card, bank transfer and cash are accepted. Machines held in the workshop remain the property of the customer and must be collected or delivery arranged once repairs are complete.

Liability

Liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the re-supply of the service or the cost of re-supplying it. The Vacuum Doctor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
